Not just a program, but a mission to inspire the next generation of STEM leaders.

EPIC Labs Robotics – FTC aims to inspire the next generation of STEM leaders who can promote the accessibility of the field to communities around the world— motivating children from diverse as well as under-privileged backgrounds to approach any problem with a STEM solution, and promoting a culture of STEM competency. EPIC Labs FTC aims to do all of this while hosting a competitive program that champions gracious professionalism.

Uzair Saeed

Hi! I'm Uzair, a 16 year old rising senior and team captain of EPIC Odyssey. In my free time, I enjoy talking to and spending time with friends, playing video games, and basketball.

Saarah Shekha


I joined this Robotics Program because I was interested to learn about different engineering and STEM concepts that I don't get exposed to in a normal school curriculum. I am the type of person who loves challenges and likes to think through problems to come up with solutions. I love hands-on experiences that allow me to learn and grow, and I will always be ready to work with the team to bring an idea to life.

I’m in the building subteam, I’m 13 years old, and I joined because I just moved and wanted to branch out into my community. In my free time, I like to read and play video games. This program is one of my biggest hobbies because of how fun and hands on it is

Reason for joining: wanted to learn more about the uses of STEM and make friendships I love playing basketball and enjoy drawing. I also like listening to music and spending time with my family

I joined this team because of my love for STEM and robotics. Ever since I was a kid, I was always interested in engineering and science, and the Epic Odyssey team has given me a chance to gain more experience in robotics. My name is Santosh Gedela, and I am a part of the IB program at Plano East. I am very excited to be a part of this team and would like to expand my knowledge in STEM.

I joined this program to use my knowledge of robotics as well as learn more about how it is used. Furthermore, being exposed to these topics at a young age is beneficial. I have been fascinated computer systems since I was little and continued to learn about them all throughout highschool so far. I am a rising Junior at Highland Park High School. I am a driver and 3D modeler for the EPIC Odyssey FTC team. I joined this program because it contained many different STEM-related training for me such as CAD training. As I am looking for a career in STEM, I knew that this program can help better me in different STEM subjects. The organization, FIRST, had many STEM Activities built in their competition, First Tech Challenge. Not to mention, the local mosque was hosting a new team and I knew I had to join.

As an experienced member, I hope to share my knowledge of REV systems design, and to learn how to design in different robotics platforms like goBuilda and actobots. Thank you!

Hello, my name is Salaah Sayed, I am in 8th grade and I am 13 years old. I have been building and creating robots and machines for almost seven years. So, when I heard EPIC mosque was doing it’s own FTC robotics program, I couldn't resist applying. I have been selected in the marketing subteam, where I help film and create graphic design for the team. For a long time, I have been interested in the field of robotics and engineering.

I joined the team in order to better explore and understand the world of engineering in hopes of pursuing it as my career in the future. My name is Ezyan Bhayani and I go to the IB world school at Plano East, where I am a member of many extracurricular such as Orchestra, Robotics, and Tech Theater. Outside of school I swim, program, and play chess in my free time.
